As the name implies, elegance is key to winning a Concours d'Elegance trophy. To turn heads here, a vehicle must not only be fully operational, but it also must possess a historical value, such as innovative styling, technology or literally a winning record on the track. Over 125 different cars will be chasing the coveted "Best in Show" with additional awards going to the "Best in Class" and specialty categories.
Our featured marques this year are cars from Shelby America and Classic & Historic Cars made in Indiana. It seems fitting that the Indiana destination, would want to honor its home state and its contributions to automotive history. Guests might be surprised to learn that the Hoosier state once boasted over 300 automobile manufacturers, more than even Detroit!
Shelby American is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Mustang GT350 this year and hopefully some will be gracing the 2014 Concours show field as well. Other Shelby favorites you can expect include GT500, Cobra, Daytona Coupe, GT40 and others.

Come early, or stay longer, French Lick Resort offers plenty on-site to fill out your weekend. The 3,000 acre resort, which features two historic hotels, four golf courses, a pair of world-class spas and more, will be the site for the full schedule of weekend activities. Highlights include a Saturday morning driving tour and a Mad VIN (Men) gala on Saturday, October 4.
